Gym FAQ · Kakinada
Is Revive Fitness Beginner-Friendly?
Yes. Roughly 60% of Revive Fitness Club members had no prior gym experience when they joined. Every session has a certified trainer on the floor. The first trial is free, with no commitment to join.
What happens on your first day at Revive?
When a new member walks in, they're not handed a generic workout sheet and pointed toward the equipment. The trainer on the floor runs through a short assessment, your fitness background, your goals, and any injuries or limitations, and then runs the first session directly.
For most beginners, day 1 covers the basics: the main movement patterns (squat, hinge, push, pull), how to set up equipment safely, and what progression looks like over the first few weeks. You leave with a program and an understanding of why each part of it is there, not a list of exercises you'll forget by morning.
Will I feel out of place as a beginner at Revive?
This is the question most people carry but don't ask. The honest answer is no, and the reason is the member composition. The majority of Revive's membership is students (roughly 60%) and working adults (roughly 30%). Most of them started as complete beginners. The gym isn't a showcase; it's a training floor.
Gyms where everyone looks highly experienced and nobody talks to you exist. Revive's culture, reflected in its 4.7-star Google rating over 380+ reviews, is coaching-forward rather than performance-display. You are expected to not know things yet. The trainer's job is to fix that.
Is there a specific beginner program at Revive?
Every new member starts with a foundation phase, whether they're signing up for personal training, strength training, weight loss, or another program. The foundation phase establishes movement quality, baseline fitness, and a training habit before volume or intensity increases.
For complete beginners, this phase typically runs 4–6 weeks before the program shifts to more advanced loading. Your trainer sets the timeline based on your progress, not a fixed calendar. The goal is to get you training well before training hard.
What if I've never been to a gym before, is that okay?
Yes. It's actually the most common starting point. Members who've never used a barbell, never done a structured workout, and who initially walked in not knowing what they wanted, they're the majority at Revive, not the exception. Your trainer has explained how a squat works from scratch hundreds of times. It's not a problem.
How do I get started as a beginner at Revive Fitness?
The simplest way is to WhatsApp and say you want to book a free trial session. You'll come in, the trainer will run you through the assessment and the first session, and you decide whether to continue. No payment is required for the trial. If you want to join after, your trainer will walk you through the program and membership options.
Revive is open Monday to Saturday from 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Sunday hours are 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The early morning batches are popular with students who train before college.
